A basic guide to setting up commissions
When it comes to commissioning, there is so much that needs to be decided, arranged and thought of that it can all appear a bit daunting at first.
However: when following a couple of basic guidelines, setting up commissions really is not as hard as you think!
If you find the article informative, please :+fav: it.

First things first
So you have decided you want to start doing commissions. That's great!

YAC 2013 Results Announcement
It is my honor and pleasure to present to you the results of the Fifth Annual Young Artists Contest (June 16, 2013 ~ August 15, 2013). A total of 103 entries was submitted by artists aged 13 to 18. Once again, we were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding skills, originality of the visions, and overall artistic maturity of many of the submissions. Please give yourselves a round of applause for bravely taking a step to enter your work into this competitive event, and more importantly, for continuing to be an artist and expressing yourself through your art.

Pokemon Mystery Gift Event! (GET FREE CUTE THINGS)
Thank you to everyone who participated! Hope you all enjoyed your gifts!
Hey everyone! For Christmas this year I thought it'd be fun to do a little Christmas event. You can get (and send to friends) the mystery gifts below that, on Christmas, will 'open' into one of five cute Christmas-themed Pokemon images!
How does this work? Well, if you have any experience with growing online adoptables, this'll be right up your alley.
How it works:
1. You send me a note with the form below filled out (up to three presents per user).
2. I'll send you (or whoever you ordered them for) image links to your mystery gifts.
3. You admire the pretty boxes

In any case, I've run across a lot of my favorite science blogs and articles in my search, as well as new ones. It occurred to me that you all have probably found some awesome pockets o' science online. I share mine if you'll share yours?

BioIllustration Contest!
To celebrate our one year anniversary as a group, we at BioIllustration are launching our first contest!
:bulletpurple: Prompts :bulletpurple:
There will be two prompts for the sake of variety:

For example, if it's a behavior, show it in action. If it's an internal organ, we need to be able to see it either in cross-section or outside the body.
2. Create an illustration in the scientific style depicting an endangered species you had not previously r
